Root Canal Therapy

Root Canal Therapy (removal of the nerve of the tooth) can eliminate pain, infection, and save a diseased tooth.

Root Canal Therapy

Treatment involves removing the diseased pulp (nerve) of the tooth. The pulp chamber and root canals of the tooth are cleaned and sealed. Diseased pulp is most commonly caused by a cracked tooth or deep decay. These allow bacteria to enter the pulp and cause an infection within the tooth. Left without treatment, bacteria builds up at the root tip and forms an abscess.
